Whether you are in a new relationship, or in a long established relationship, the ways you kiss your lover convey different messages. When you kiss someone, what message are you sending?
- Putting a hand around the back of someone’s neck to hold him or her tight against you sends a message of lust, saying “I want you.” While this can be a huge turn-on, it could also be felt as too aggressive, especially if there are control battles in the relationship. If this is a brand new relationship, an action this strong could make a shy or fragile person feel frightened or uncomfortable. But in a long-standing relationship, kissing this way can be a welcome invitation.
- One or two quick ‘tasting’ kisses can be a wonderful appetizer, sending the message that you’re just getting warmed up. It’s a great way to tease someone before indulging in a delicious breath-taking kiss.
- A deep french kiss with a lot of thrusting tongues has very clear implications of what’s to come, so to speak. This can be very exciting, as long as both people enjoy that type of kissing. A man needs to be certain the woman is comfortable with it before kissing that way.
- And a quick extra kiss or two when saying ‘goodbye’ can send the message “I can’t get enough of you.” But don’t overdo it–more than five or six of those could say “I’m needy” or “I might turn into a stalker.”
Most people tend to get in the habit of kissing a certain way. Mixing it up a little enriches your relationship, and adds in a little spice!
